Friday ConFessions

The Early Bird catches the worm....that seems to be the consensus of those who are getting in their workouts more than twice a week and on a consistent basis.  I'm a morning person and I like to get up and get things done early.  I guess adding my work out to the morning might not be too bad especially since after work/school activities is proving to be difficult to add my workout in.  For the past few weeks, I've been getting my 2nd workout in (barely), by getting up earlier on Friday.  Next week is Spring Break for the boys, so in honor of that (tee hee) I'm stepping up my game.  I'm going to increase my workouts to 3 times a week (there I said it).  Anyone wanna join me? I'm just gonna be like Nike and DO IT.  No more thinking about it, no more talking about it, I'm just going to DO IT.  Come on...who's in?

  1. I'm having a hard enough time getting in the one workout... so 3 is a "no go" at this time. I know you suggest something cardiovascular. But after a recent golf brunch, the speaker reminded us of some simple 'chair' exercises we can do at at home or office anytime. So I'm adding them to my daily routine. Baby steps... right? -DeShawn

  2. Girl,

You are doing just fine! With ALL you have to do...You should give yourself credit for Exercising on 95, twice a day...5 days
a week. You are burning Breakfast, Lunch and
whatever calories you might have for dinner.
    Credit is due you!!
    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

  3. This week I was able to exercise once, but the day is still young and I plan on getting that second workout in when I get home this evening.

It has been a challenge at times to get the workouts in because by the time I get home I am tired, not to mention I have no idea what is waiting for me when I get home that will have to have my attention.

I like the idea of getting up early and getting my workout in before leave the house so next week I am going to try it and see how it goes. This will just take some advanced planning on my part to make sure that I do not miss my train. I will take your challenge and shoot for 3 times a week.

Now that the weather is nicer I think I may venture outside.

  4. Three times a week it is! I'm learning that I have to "just do it!," even if I don't get in the full amount of time I've planned. This morning only a few minutes into my workout, the little one woke up. I pushed harder and got in an intense 15 minutes before clocking in for mommy duty. Something is better than nothing. V.
